Vintage 1938 Gold Spanish Lace Sequile Earrings
About the Item
Portuguese Sequile Earrings such as these 19Kt gold lacy dangles have been made since the late 1700's in Portugal. They are classic. Most pair are much larger. This is a medium sized pair made in 1938 in the same design as the 18th century Sequels. They are lighter than paper on the ear. Lacy gold is beautiful and endlessly desirable from work to evening. Clearly not modern yet not stuck in time. Perfect condition. 1 1/4 inches long. .67 inches wide. Weight a weightless 3.92 grams.
