A fine and impressive pair of vintage 1940s 0.44 carat diamond and 18 karat yellow gold earrings; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections. These fine and impressive vintage Art Deco earrings have been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The vintage Art Deco earrings are each composed of a circular setting, embellished with an impressive feature claw set modern brilliant round cut diamond. Each earring features two 18k yellow gold scrolling ribbon designs, emanating outwards from the feature diamond. The impressive Art Deco earrings are each ornamented with further supporting diamonds; each earring is embellished with three collet set eight-cut diamonds set between the yellow gold ribbons and a further line of pave set eight-cut diamonds encircling the lower half of the design. These earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse with a post and hinged catch fastening. The vintage earrings are hallmarked with under the clip with the 18k gold fineness mark 750. These vintage earrings are fitted to the impressive original hinged leatherette presentation case with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. The leatherette cover is further embellished with a scrolling border in addition to a gilded four leaf design to the corner. The interior of the cover of the box features the embossed retailer's mark 'MALLETT GOLDSMITH BATH'.
