Antique 1.00 Carat Ruby and Diamond Platinum Earrings

A stunning, fine and impressive pair of antique 6.42 carat ruby and 8.56 carat diamond, platinum earrings; part of our diverse ruby jewellery collection These stunning, fine and impressive antique drop earrings have been crafted in platinum. Each antique earring has a feature claw set oval faceted cut Burmese ruby to the pear-shaped terminal, encompassed with thirty-six claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds in a tiered cluster formation. These pear-shaped terminals each suspend from an articulated linear drop comprised of five collet set rectangular step cut diamonds. The organic asymmetric setting to the apex of each earring features an interlacing scrolling design accented with forty-two pav© set eight-cut diamonds. Each scrolling setting is further embellished with paralleling curvilinear arrangements of claw set rectangular step cut diamonds, completing the design. The impressive antique earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse with a post and hinged catch fastening. These ruby earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The impressive earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a ruby report certificate from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory Limited, 43 Kirby Street, London* Such earrings incorporating large rubies are difficult to locate; these are stunning and highly desirable examples of their type.
