These Fig cocktail earrings in yellow gold-plated sterling silver with detachable cabochon green treated amber drops are designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva. These artist-designed earrings were featured in a Vogue UA review.
The sweet idea of the favorite fruit together with shining gold and gems make this piece a contemporary jewelry item. While the simplicity of the lines still gives it a classy look, the cabochon drops in green color can work differently. They can add sparkly or playful notes to a strict black dress or shift to elegance when paired with a colorful outfit.
Sugar fig fruit is equivalent to the forbidden apples in the bible, and the fig leaves were the only clothes for the first humans in the garden of paradise. Fig is one of the sacred trees in ancient myths.
These earrings can be ordered with red garnets, blue topazes, purple amethysts, yellow citrines, rose quartzes, or other gemstones.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
