About the Item
Organic form 14K gold roughly textured long hanging earrings encrusted with a multitude of vari-sized amethyst and peridot cabochon gemstones by American goldsmith Frederick Marshall. Sculptural, rough-around-the-edges technique references the way gemstones are found in nature. Hinged design allows for movement and added interest. One-of-a-kind, handmade jewels, signed by the artist in script on the back.
Frederick Marshall is an award winning studio art jeweler, the recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts/Mid-Atlantic Art Foundation Fellowship and of the NJ State Council on the Arts Fellowship. His work has appeared in numerous publications and museum exhibitions. He works in a sculptural formant, drawing his inspiration from ancient art and the modern world. Organic forms and multi-colored gemstones feature prominently in his jewels.

Post backs, the backs of the earrings as beautifully finished as the front.
