About the Item
In 1989 Robert Lee Morris created a collection of matte gold plated brass jewelry for Donna Karan all in the theme of egg forms. These voluptuous clip earrings are constructed of two hollow elongated egg forms that hang perpendicular to one another. the hanging larger egg, swings gently from the top egg. Hand made in the RLM New York city studio, these modern looking pieces have an architectural beauty to them, being organic and geometric at the same time. Large in scale but very light due to the thin walled hollow construction. Very rare and the last pair in the RLM library, these are a great collectors item.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. This last pair of Egg Drop earrings are in very good condition with some wear with age and handling. the rich gold of the plated brass actually hides the imperfections in the surface due to the natural lushness of pure gold. Clips are strong.
