About the Item
Victorian natural pearl suite. A natural pearl suite comprising a pendant/brooch and earrings, the circular bombé brooch/pendant set with graduating round natural pearls in closed back grain settings, surrounded by a fine ropetwist border and further outer beaded border, suspending an articulated drop shape pendant, fitted to top with an oval bale, fitted to reverse with a secure hinged pin and scrolling C-clasp and removable glass covered compartment, approximately 5.1cm in length; the matching earrings composed of a circular bombé plaque with double beaded border, suspending a larger similar plaque and further suspending a drop shape pendant, all highlighted with round natural pearls in closed back grain settings, fitted to reverse with a secure shepherd's hook, approximately 5.0cm in length to top of hook. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890, accompanied by a fitted box.
