Contemporary Fig Stud Earrings in White Gold with Quartzes
About the Item
These fig earrings are in 14 karat white gold with frosted blue grown quartzes. They work great with the sun touched skin and for all hair and eyes colours. It was featured in Vogue UA June issue with smoky quartzes, and have been chosen for the 64th Berlinale Film Festival red carpet by the actress Anne Ratte-Polle.
These blue quartzes fruits are unique hand made sculptures of the sweetest southern figs, which grow on the elegant twigs of the tree with long needles and leaves on them. They usually have a tender green-beige tone when the fruit is green, but later it turns to a dusty dark purple black, until it can drop it's sugary juice, melting on the sun, unless it is eaten by the birds, sloths or monkeys. Therefore this model exists also in rose gold with frosted amethysts.
The elegant accurate needles refer to the the traditional calligraphy principle 'lines and spots', symbolise the sharp lines of the order and accuracy. Together with transparent frosted matte gems they make the perfect accent on this contemporary earrings. Fig is one of the sacred trees in the ancient myths.
The earrings can be ordered with rose onyx or purple amethysts, and in sterling silver.
