    This antique Victorian mourning locket pendant was once worn close to someones heart. The locket pendant dates back to the 19th century and is created in 14 karat gold. The front and back of this oval-shaped pendant is beautifully engraved with ornaments while the side is embellished with scrolling foliage. Behind the glass plate hair work is placed as a remembrance of the deceased. The pendant comes without the chain. Mourning jewelry were mostly worn in The Grand Victorian Era, between ca. 1861-1880.
