About the Item
Known as the “Queen of Gems”, pearls have been coveted for centuries.
For sale a timeless single strand Akoya salt water pearl necklace, consisting of 121 rounded pearls, dated back to the Art Deco era. The pearls have a white body color and they conserved a good luster. The graduated design makes the largest pearl is in the center and progressively smaller pearls on both sides: the largest pearl measure 7.3mm in diameter and the smallest one 3.2mm in diameter. The length of the necklace is 55cm.
Adding a touch of elegance is the beautifully crafted 18K white gold clasp, featuring a larger old european cut diamond at its center, surrounded by 12 smaller diamonds. The central diamond, with an estimated weight of approximately 0.12 carats, sparkles brilliantly. This dazzling clasp measures 18mm by 8mm.
To ensure the durability of this heirloom-quality necklace, it has been recently re-strung by our skilled jeweler.

In overall good antique condition. Slight traces of use. Slight blemishes and natural growing marks on the pearls.
No hallmark is found so the clasp is acid tested for 18K gold.
