Georgian Natural Pearl and Diamond Necklet
About the Item
This exquisite handmade Georgian necklet features 56 natural pearls and 116 diamond chips set in silver topped rolled gold. The piece dates to England circa 1770 when pearls were a symbol of great wealth and among the most exclusive objects a person could own. The original owner of this necklet would have very likely come from an aristocratic background or have been someone of great monetary wealth.
This piece comes with a laboratory report confirming the pearls are natural.
