Saltwater Natural Pearl Necklace Diamond and Yellow Gold Clasp
About the Item
A fine and impressive single strand, saltwater natural pearl necklace with a 0.15 carat diamond, 15 karat yellow gold and platinum set clasp; part of our diverse necklace and pendant collection.
This fine and impressive single strand pearl necklace consists of eighty-five individually knotted natural saltwater pearls graduating in size (2.6mm-7.9mm), the largest being in the center.
This fine antique pearl necklace secures to the reverse with an antique 15k yellow gold push fit clasp with platinum setting, in addition to a hallmarked sterling silver safety clip and fine link chain.
The circular clasp is ornamented with millegrain decorated borders and a combination of nine Old European cut diamonds, all accenting a quatrefoil design.
This saltwater pearl necklace is supplied with a pearl certificate provided by the GCS (gemological certification services), in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the diamonds.
The push fit clasp has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold, platinum and silver.
Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone.
Condition
This impressive 1920s pearl necklace is fine quality set with eighty-five, graduating, natural pearls and Old European cut diamonds displaying a fine white color and brilliance.
The necklace is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewelry/estate jewelry.
