Victorian Pearl and Diamond Necklace, circa 1880s

About the Item

This beautiful Victorian necklace features a single row of natural salt water pearls, graduating in size. The largest pearl measures 6.4mm and the smallest pearl measures 3mm. The clasp is designed in a sweet daisy style from platinum and features a 0.20 carat central old cut diamond at its centre with a further eight 0.05 carat diamonds surrounding. The diamonds have a colour of G to H and a clarity of VS. The clasp is finished with a back and safety chain made from 18 carat yellow gold. This necklace measures 19 inches long.
