We adore a good antique gold Albert chain here and this one is really the pinnacle of chains! I am truly in love with this one!
It has everything you could ever wish for in an antique gold Albert chain, the heavy weight, fine craftsmanship and if you are looking for an Albert chain you can wear as a necklace then this one would work depending on neck size.
It is a superbly crisp curb link chain in 9ct solid gold, each link individually stamped for 9ct gold, 9.375.
A double Albert, adjoined in the centre with a large gold jump ring suspending a t bar and extra jump rings for attaching fobs, the chain has two dog clip fasteners.
A classic staple for any jewellery collection, these chains never go out of style and are as wearable today as they were back then.
Perfect for showcasing your favourite antique pocket or fob watch or wearing as a necklace.
The gold has a light warm rosey overtone but mostly gives yellow gold tones.
This would have belonged to a very wealthy gentleman, someone important, this would have hung from the pockets of a waistcoat, suspending a fine gold pocket watch, maybe a vesta or other accessories.
A very lovely piece, this would make a beautiful gift for someone Special or as a treat for yourself!
