Antique Long and Heavy Gold Chain Necklace

This elaborate Victorian era yellow gold chain necklace was made in the 19th century, circa 1850s-1870s. The gold of the necklace was tested to be in the 17 to 18 karat range. Length is 124 cm (48 in.) Width is 5 mm (3/16 in.) Weight is 75 grams. The clasp is a modern replacement.
