Edwardian Mixed Metals Curb Link Watch Chain and Toggle Bar Necklace
About the Item
A lovely mixed metals watch chain from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful curb link chain features a pattern of 14kt rose gold chain that alternates with sections of platinum links, coming together to create a wonderful two-tone appeal. A beautiful mixed metals toggle bar dangles from a short chain extension at the center, and features a ribbed platinum bar, accented with rose gold beaded accents. adding further beauty to the mixed metals design. A bail at the top of the extension allows the wearer to add a complimentary pendant or locket, if desired. The necklace fastens securely at the back by two yellow gold watch swivel clasps, allowing it to beautifully rest below the neckline. Whether worn alone, or paired with a favorite pendant or locket, the necklace offers wonderful versatility and makes a unique statement piece!
The necklace measures approximately 18" in total length. The toggle bar hangs about 1 3/8" long, and measures approximately 1 5/8" wide and 1/8" thick. The overall pennyweight of the piece is 12.7dwt (19.8 grams).
