1970's 18K Yellow Gold, Black Enamel and Diamond Choker Necklace
About the Item
This beautifully designed, very well constructed and substantial, scallop motif choker necklace is reminiscent of many similar pieces created by the very best houses in this country and in Europe. Each of twelve front links are heavily diamond encrusted and are flanked by jet black enamel links. The juxtaposition of the links is striking, as the scintillating diamond links contrast the neighboring black enamel links. Total approximate diamond weight is 5.50ct and overall quality is G/H-VS2. The 1/2 inch width gives the choker considerable presence when worn. The inline plunger clasp features a "double click" plunger which serves as both clasp and safety. Stamped ITALY and 750, indicating 18K gold. Gross weight 162.25 grams.
