Antique 14K Gold Diamond Collier de Chien Choker Necklace circa 1910
This necklace, which fits snugly around the neck, is characterized by unique elegance and special craftsmanship. It is made of seven cords with small gold beads and held together by four rod elements set with sparkling rose-cut diamonds. The diamonds are set in Platin. Hidden behind the last one is a plug clasp. An additional safety device ensures a firm hold.

Gorgeous evening jewelry for a petite lady. This necklace is worn quite tight and high on the neck. The worn length is only 32 cm.
Short choker necklaces like this one were mostly made of pearls. They emerged at the end of the 19th century and were very much en vogue until Art Deco.
