Lovely Henry Perichon (aka Henry), Medieval revival bronze metal choker necklace. Three gilded bronze elements in an antique Middle-Age design influence ornate with turquoise blue poured glass cabochons. The gilded bronze chain with hook closing clasp, are brand signature of Henry jewelry. There is no visible signature on this piece. The pieces created by Henry for the movie industries are rarely signed.
Measurements: The necklace's total length is 20.47 in. (52 cm) - the width is 1.38 in. long (3.5 cm) - each element is 1.50 in. wide (3.8 cm) x 1.38 in. high (3.5 cm).
About:
Henri Perichon (1910 - 1970), known as "Henry," is one of the most inventive French jewelry designers of the 20th Century. His studio was located in Lyon, working on a medium such as bronze, silver, white metal, or resin (Talosel). His style is hard to define, reflecting many influences, including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from the 1950s and 1960s, like Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillére, wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
