Magnificent ART NOUVEAU NECKLACE,
vintage 1920s,
5 large SAPHIRETs, gold metal,
necklace length 43 cm (adjustable),
piece of collection,
good condition.
Collectible Saphiret glass was made in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia in the mid-19th century by mixing melted gold into sapphire-colored glass. This creates an unusual glowing effect not seen in gemstones.

Le verre de collection Saphiret a été fabriqué à Gablonz, en Tchécoslovaquie, au milieu du XIXe siècle, en mélangeant de l'or fondu à du verre de couleur saphir. Cela crée un effet de brillance inhabituel que l'on ne voit pas dans les pierres précieuses.
