Art Nouveau Goddess Maiden Woman Rose Flower Enamel Pendant Brooch Necklace
About the Item
This is a museum quality Art Nouveau, 14 Karat Gold, Enamel and Baroque Pearl Pendant-Brooch depicting the beautiful faces of three women whose long flowing hair is adorned with vines of green enamel decorated leaves with a pink rose in the center. The pendant has a baroque pearl drop. The work is a masterpiece of the Art Nouveau period. The three women pendant dates to the Belle Epoque - Art Nouveau period, circa 1880 - 1915. The brooch is 14 Karat Gold. The wonderful goddess maidens are beautifully rendered with stunning peaceful serene faces and absolutely gorgeous flowing hair entwined with the green enamel leaves of the rose bush. The pendant/brooch is a magnificent creation epitomizing the Art Nouveau period. The workmanship on the pendant is of the very highest quality. The gold is a gorgeous warm yellow color. The back of the pendant has a brooch pin as well as a hinged loop at the top. If you choose to wear it as a brooch the pendant loop folds down and is hidden from view! This is a lovely feature of the pendant.
The pendant is 1 3/4 inches (42mm) tall not including the bale and is x 7/8 inches (23mm) wide.
The pendant weighs 8.3 grams.
The pendant tests for 14 Karat Gold.
There is a small bit of enamel loss on the leaves.
