About the Item
This exquisite lavalier style drop necklace by highlights a divinely hand-carved nineteenth-century Venetian cameo depicting Saint Mary which is framed in sterling silver with delicately engraved detailing and old-cut marcasites. The elaborate chaining is comprised of six exquisite figural winged-cherub links joined together by four 18 x 25 mm natural Mother of Pearl cabochons. In chandelier-style, a beautiful Baroque figural winged angel with single 22 x 30 mm natural mother of pearl drop hangs from Saint Mary's frame. Each mother of pearl cabochon is hand set surrounded with a finely beaded frame.
