About the Item
A very early Robert Lee Morris Necklace, this design if silver tubing, balls, coils and coconut shell, is very iconic of the first decade of Morris' designs. Created originally in the mid to late 1970's this series is unique and one of a kind. This particular necklace was actually re-created, (still one of a kind) for a Donna Karan Fall 2007 runway show. I is stunning, dramatic and extremely fascinating as an assemblage of silver and black coconut shell "percussion" or visual rythems. The necking fits a 15" neck, and from it the pectoral piece hangs 4.5" down from it. the two balls that hang at the bottom are quite flexible and move with the body.
