An extra – ordinary antique 1820 ca gold collar necklace, hand crafted during the time of solid 18 kt gold – tested
Rare design, comprising exquisite flat shaped links of spectacular Greek key like design – two chains at the back side, three on the front side
It has fantastic Dog head figure with scroll work details in the taste of the era with the peculiarity of being crafted on the reverse same as front side, on the opposite side there is a shell element same work type done same on the reverse hiding the closure clasp
this is remarkable and unique in all its expression, true rare find to get hold of, it will not find anything quite like it
very good condition keeping with age
Measures: length is 40 cm. – 15 mm. at the widest part – clasp is 17 x 15 mm. – dog decoration is 27 x 10 mm. (h. x w.)
