Betty Cooke Sterling Necklace with Geode Crystal Ball

About the Item

One of a kind sterling silver necklace by modernist designer, Betty Cooke. The necklace consists of eleven rectangular links of different sizes, the largest being 1" x 2 1/4". Suspended from the links is a prong set crystal geode ball measuring 1 3/4" in diameter. The necklace is 19 1/2" in length and closes with a hook clasp. It is illustrated in both "Form and Function: American Modernist Jewelry 1940 - 1970" and "Modernist Jewelry 1930 - 1960, The Wearable Art Movement." Both were written by Marbeth Schon.
