ANTIQUE MUGHAL OLD SILVER AND GOLD WASH PRAYER NECKLACE
EARLY 1900’S NECKLACE FROM INDIA. VERY HEAVY OLD SILVER WITH GOLD WASH ON PANELS AND NECKLACE. VERY LONG, NECKLACE WITH ORNATE DESIGN, TAPERED FIT, FABULOUS STATEMENT PIECE OR FOR YOUR COLLECTION
Handcrafted silver antique Mughal necklace . You will find this important Piece in books on Vintage Mughal jewelry. This necklace has a raised/repousse design featuring the peacock which is a symbol of royalty, wealth, opulence, beauty,and pride Gorgeous Early 20th century. Antique old silver necklace, virtually identical to necklaces featured in Oppi Untracht's "Traditional Jewelry of India. I will include a used copy of the book in the sale of the necklace. There are missing stones as seen in the photographs. I have not replaced or altered the necklace to keep this important piece in its original condition. Chain at back of neck was included when I purchased the necklace, it is old, but I'm not sure it was original to the piece.
