Art Deco 1.50ct Emerald and Diamond Pendant, c.1920s
About the Item
This mesmerising pendant comes to us from the 1920’s Art Deco period. Taking centre stage, an awe inspiring 1.00 carat emerald is set into 18 carat yellow gold. The pear cut emerald is Columbian in origin, with an intense green colour. A smaller, yet equally beautiful 0.50 carat emerald of the same cut and colour is sat just below. Connecting the two and adding true character to the pendant, ribbon and bow styled platinum surrounds the central drop down emerald. A total of 0.65 carat in diamonds has been set into the bow design and onto the bail, adding a real sparkle. A mix of old cut and rose cut diamonds have been used, all matching in colour at G and ranging in clarity from VS to SI. This beautiful piece comes on an 18 carat white gold chain.
