This brooch / pendant certified by two labs to be natural jadeite jade. The pendant / brooch is set in 18k white gold and yellow gold with flower motif. There are 8 small imperial jade cabochons, 2 pearls, and one gem quality imperial jade peapod that make up this pendant / brooch. We estimate around 0.50cts of white diamonds are also used in this setting. Imperial green color jades are very rare and highly sort after. This pendant can also can be used as a brooch. This fine jewelry is made with an eye catching imperial green jade that is mesmerizing. The jades are all very noticeable with highly saturated green color and excellent translucency. The icy imperial green jade is simple and classic, showing off its natural beauty. The color really pops. You can see this from far away! It GLOWS! True imperial jade must have BOTH a strong saturation of green AND a high degree of translucency. Natural Material meeting both of these conditions is very uncommon and hardly seen. Color saturation and translucency are indirectly proportional. Material with a stronger saturation of color is more dense and less translucent. The opposite holds true as well.
