Rose Cross Pendant Necklace handcrafted in Germany by jewelry maker Gitta Pielcke in bright sterling silver with a faceted red garnet set in an 18k yellow gold bezel. Pendant accompanied with multiple neck cords in assorted colors. Stamped and Hallmarked.
About the Maker - Gitta Pielcke, born in Hamburg, Germany, has always taken a creative stand against austerity in jewelry design. Designing her pieces in irregular sculptural fashion, Gitta’s collection often looks as if it grew naturally in the wild. Personally kneading the individual elements from soft wax, the small flowers, buds, and calyxes are then combined in ways that render the original form superfluous. Married to master silver and goldsmith Erich Zimmermann, Gitta and her husband share an atelier in Augsburg, Germany.
