Magnificent Edwardian Diamond Platinum Cross Necklace
About the Item
As good as it gets! A treasure from the early 19th century, this Edwardian cross is a museum quality piece without a doubt! It features 12 old-cut diamonds, each weighing over 1 carat, set in the center with milgrain finish around each stone. Bordering the large diamonds is detailed platinum hand-work in the lavish garland style of the early 1900’s. The necklace is set with alternating kite-shape and round diamonds, also with detailed milgrain around each stone. Simply superb, this hand-made platinum piece belongs in a distinguished collection.
