About the Item
This spectacular Pauline Rader necklace features a massive dimensional pendant design with shiny gilded metal framing embellished with a green spinach marble Bakelite background. The pendant has a lovely intricate centaur carved and see-thru design. The long gilt metal chain has a spring-ring closing clasp. On the back of the pendant is an oval plate with the inscription Pauline Rader.
The necklace is in good condition, with only minimal wear on the metal.
Measurements: The necklace's total length is 24.80 in (63 cm) - the drop is 15.38 in (39 cm) - The pendant is 2.38 in diameter (6 cm).
Note: Pauline Rader was an esteemed designer whose creations are highly sought after by collectors. Pauline grew up in a family of jewelers and was passionate about the field since childhood. Pauline established her fashion jewelry brand in 1962, creating exquisite designs in various styles. She was very fond of animal figures and the Etruscan designs of Greece and Rome. Only high-end retail stores and exclusive boutiques carried her collections. In 1982, the company closed. With only twenty years of high-quality jewelry production, her vintage pieces are limited and highly prized by collectors.
