Victorian Amethyst & Natural Pearl Floral Cross Pendant & Chain Double Sided
About the Item
A truly exceptional Victorian pendant and necklace. The piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold and showcases natural amethyst gemstones and natural pearl gemstones. The pendant shows details throughout as floral details are hand etched throughout the whole design. One side shows six amethyst gemstones that accent one center set natural button pearl, which shows beautiful luster. Each surrounding amethyst gemstone weighs approximately 1.01 carat. The purple color from the amethyst gemstones is vibrant and contrasts beautifully against the yellow gold. Four smaller pearls decorate each corner of the cross.
The reverse side of the cross shows more hand carved golden details as floral vines decorate the entire piece. One Amethyst gemstone highlights the center, secured with a golden rope border. Four smaller pearls hug the corners of the cross. Both sides of the piece are fantastic, however entirely different. The pendant is perfect for every day wear.
The final detail of the piece is in the chain. The pendant is held by one rolo link chain crafted in 14k yellow gold. The chain shows ten floral stations, that are separated every two inches on the chain. The chain measures 26" and the pendant measures 2" having this piece lay at 28" when worn.
There are approximately 7.10 carat of amethyst gemstones and approximately 3.30 carat of natural pearl gemstones giving this pendant a 10.40 total carat weight. All photos taken under magnification, bid confidently.
