Victorian Pansy Blue Enamel Diamonds Flower Pendant, 1890
About the Item
Victorian Pansy Flower Blue Enamel with old-cut Diamonds Choker Pendant. Tender and elegant flower with old-cut Diamonds all around and in the centre. Superb level of jeweller craftsmanship depicting a pansy with a gradient of Enamel colours from white in the middle to blue on the edges.
The pendant has a relatively large loop in the back so it can accommodate a chain (not included) or a cord and it looks fantastic on a black lace (provided) to wear as a choker. The black lace has a period-correct lock (clip) and can be easily resized. Please take a look at the video.
Back in the Victorian days, every little thing had a special meaning. Even more so the flowers.
Pansy flowers symbolize romantic love and platonic affection. Pansies also embody thoughtfulness, compassion, remembrance, and free-thinking. White Gold.
