Details:
The sweetest hot air balloon pendant in white 14K gold, with a pearl basket! A mid-century vintage piece likely from the 1940's-1950's. The balloon is encrusted with diamonds. This piece is very sweet and would be a great addition to your collection! Please ask all necessary questions prior to placing an order!
Appraisal Reads:
One (1) vintage fourteen karat white gold diamond balloon pendant with chain. Set at the bottom is one (1) cultured Akoya pearl measuring 8.0 mm, with white body color, rose overtones, very good luster, and minor blemishes.
Bead set in a filigree balloon are two (2) early modern round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 3.5 – 3.9 mm, weighing approximately 0.38 carat combined total weight with F-G color and VS clarity; twenty-four (24) European cut diamonds, measuring 1.5 – 2.7 mm, weighing approximately 0.84 carat combined total weight with F-G color and VS1-SI2 clarity; and eight (8) single cut diamonds, measuring 1.2 – 2.1 mm, weighing approximately 0.13 carat combined total weight with G-H color and VS1-SI2 clarity. The pendant and chain weigh 5.4 grams.
