About the Item
A vintage agate 18 karat yellow gold eagle fob, circa 1900.
This rare and unusual fob is realistically modelled as an eagle carved from one piece of banded agate.
The white section of banded agate is the beak of the bird of prey.
The eagle features an 18 carat yellow gold collar with finely engraved detail, studded throughout with bezel set cabochon turquoise. Set to the top of the collar with a bail from which to suspend the fob.
Another banded white section is detailed for the seal section of the fob; this is a clean stone and issue free should you wish to engrave with your own crest or design.

Condition:
Overall the fob is in very good condition, with some slight surface wear to the surface of the yellow gold in keeping with its general age.
