Yellow Gold Decorated 24K
Japanese Komai Style Cigarette Case & Lighter Set Meiji Period
This antique Japanese cigarette case is signed and dates to approximately 1920 and done in an Anglo-Japanese style. This damascene styled cigarette case is done with oxidized metal and decorated with a well executed Japanese dragon on the front. The back corner appears to be signed with a small notation of "24 Karat Gold" underneath. The hinges and clasp work well and as intended
The wood box is in very good vintage condition with minor wear.
Overall, a gorgeous and scarce set which would be a pleasure to use or to add to your collection!
