A striking George Sawyer 3.6 mm 14K gray gold and etched sterling silver flat band in the distinctive Mokume style. The ring features 3 channels of 10 round diamonds, each set in 14KW gold, .14 TCW. Interior stamp reads "14K & Ster George Sawyer © signature/ (date is illegible)". Style Number is F36J3CH. Ring is size 6.5.
After studying the ancient Japanese art of folded and layered metal techniques know as Mokume, Mr. Sawyer created his own internationally recognized complex signature style from his Minneapolis, Minnesota studio. His use of color and pattern creates one-of-a-kind, continuous, seamless bands that reflect his passion for jewelry as art.
