Art Deco Diamond Platinum Plaque Ring
About the Item
An Art Deco diamond-set plaque ring, set with seventeen old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 1.5 carats in total, all mounted in platinum, with D-section shank and chenier shoulders, circa 1920, head measuring 1.7x1.1cm, gross weight 3.7 grams. Finger size L
This ring is in excellent condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
A dazzling diamond-set ring made in the 1920s. This ring features a geometric plaque, emblematic of Art Deco design, set with a central diamond surrounded by sixteen further diamonds. This sparkling and charming ring looks gorgeous on the finger and catches the light beautifully. This piece comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would make a wonderful antique engagement ring for the non-traditional bride, or a glamorous accessory to an evening dress.
