About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.02 carat Basaltic sapphire and 1.85 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold cocktail ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire ring has been crafted in 18k white gold. The pierced decorated, cluster design is ornamented with a principle 1.02Ct cushion cut Basaltic blue sapphire, in relief to the center. The feature sapphire is bordered by a total of ten claw set Old European cut diamonds. The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders are each ornamented with a further pavé set Old European cut diamond, integrating with the cluster design and melding with the plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the exterior of the shank and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. This antique Basaltic sapphire ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card*. NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This antique gemstone cocktail ring is fine quality set with a stunning Basaltic sapphire displaying fine color, brilliance and presence. The impressive Old European cut diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. The European hallmarks to the exterior of the shank have wear in keeping with age and are illegible.
