Burmese Star Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring
About the Item
A Burmese star ruby and diamond cluster ring, the oval cabochon star ruby weighing 4.67cts accompanied by Gemlab certificate stating the ruby to be untreated and of Burmese origin, with a brilliant and baguette-cut diamond cluster surround to a D-section shank, stamped platinum, circa 1950, the head measuring approximately 1.4x1.7cm, gross weight 6.6 grams. This ring is in very good condition.
An eye-catching ruby and diamond cluster ring. The central star ruby has an enchanting fuchsia colour, and the central asterism is highlighted by the cluster of diamonds that surround it. The diamonds are lively and set to platinum, adding a luxurious surround to the star ruby. This piece comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would be a stunning addition to a formal outfit.
