C.1900 18K Diamond and Sapphire 7 Stone Half Hoop Ring
About the Item
Cornflower blue sapphire claw set ring with three large sapphires with four complimentary old cut diamonds, a variation of the 5 stone half hoop diamond ring (the each pair of small diamonds read as one larger diamond). Such rings were designed to emphasize the gemstones. The ring is set "a jour", or "open to the day" and can be worn for everyday wear and can be exposed to moisture without fear. The ring is a size 5 1/2.
The ring is an H color and VS clarity. The head of the ring measures approximately 18MM wide.
