Edwardian Pearl and Pink Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1910
About the Item
This unique ring stars a pearl in the centre which is a wonderful white colour. It measures 1.5mm and has diamonds set at each of the cardinal points. Along the vertical, the two diamonds each weigh 0.20 carat, whilst the horizontal set diamonds are slightly smaller at 0.10 carat each. They are estimated VS2 in clarity and G in colour, whilst the small diamonds on either shoulder are pink diamonds. The diamonds are law set around the pearl, whilst the shoulders use a grain setting to hold the pink diamonds in the platinum. The bans consists of 18 carat yellow gold, a typical feature of the Edwardian period.
