Ruby and Diamond Coronet Cluster Ring, circa 1970
About the Item
Ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Siam ruby in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, encircled by two stepped rows of round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats, and alternated by a single row of inward tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.70 carats, to an openwork ballerina cluster form with a structured linear gallery with backholing and elegant inward tapered supportive shoulders, flowing smoothly down to a solid flat shank. Tested white gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #07865 and Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #81288-67. UK ring size M.
