Ruby Diamond Gold Platinum Oval Tablet Cluster Ring
About the Item
A ruby and diamond tablet cluster ring, the oval ruby measuring approximately 7.2 x 5.6mm, estimated to weigh 1.2 carats, in a gold millegrain setting surrounded by a double border of rose-cut diamonds with a daylight in-between to a platinum mount with diamond-set split shoulders and a tapering gold shank, circa 1910, the head measuring approximately 1.4 x 1.2cm, gross weight 2.7 grams. Finger size N 1/2
This ring is in very good condition.
A beautiful Edwardian-era ruby and diamond ring. This enchanting ring features a central pink-hued ruby surrounded by a halo of twinkling diamonds and a further octagonal frame of diamonds. The delicate openwork diamonds wonderfully frame the bright ruby. This antique ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would make a gorgeous and unusual engagement ring.
