Belle Époque Natural Pearl, Garnet and Diamond Ring

About the Item

A Belle Epoque natural pearl, garnet and diamond aigrette ring, the greyish pink pearl accompanied by GCS report stating to be natural saltwater, set within two round faceted demantoid garnets and one old-cut diamond, the platinum and yellow gold mount with diamond-set shoulders, circa 1900, bearing French assay marks, the head measuring approximately 1.4cm, gross weight 3.20 grams. Finger size L This ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold and platinum. A splendid and elegant Belle Epoque ring from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Sometimes known as a tiara ring, this particular design was very popular during this period. It features a curved yellow gold band set with glinting diamonds that holds two lime-green garnets and a further diamond, from which stems a gorgeous natural pearl with a luminous pinkish grey hue. This is a feminine and enchanting piece, one that would add period charm to an evening gown. The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure. Should you choose to make this purchase we would be delighted to send it to you in a Bentley & Skinner handmade leather case packed in a gift-wrapped Bentley & Skinner black and gold presentation box. Shortly afterwards we will send you on a valuation for insurance purposes for your reference and safekeeping.
