Edwardian Amethyst and Diamond Flower Ring, circa 1910
About the Item
Dating to approximately 1910, this beautiful ring features four pear shaped amethysts. Two weigh 0.75 carat and two weigh 0.60 carat, bringing the total to 2.70 carat. The diamonds, which are old cuts, have a combined weight of 0.38 carat and are rub over set in the middle of the ring and down the shoulders. The diamonds are G in colour and SI in clarity, all set within platinum. The shank and gallery have been made in 18 carat yellow gold, typical of the Edwardian era.
