About the Item
A spectacular and rare jewel worthy of a royal's finger! This magnificent 1950s-era handmade 14K yellow gold ring features a massive 20.5 carat luminous, transparent, vivid green natural emerald from Russia. The stone has been GIA certified as a natural emerald of Russian origin. Unlike so many large emeralds, this is no pale, washed-out stone the color of an old Coke bottle. It's the classic rich emerald green we expect from an emerald. But in a size we certainly did not expect. This is an extraordinarily gemmy emerald of exceptionally high quality. A very rare and impressive stone, indeed.
Set into a permanently fashionable retro mounting that features two rows of sparkling natural white diamonds -56 altogether- totaling approximately 2.5 carats.
This is an incredibly bold and dazzling ring. And you need to understand: I have not in any way adjusted the color of the stone in Photoshop, so the vivid green you see in the images is what you will see in person. I can't overstate how uncommon emeralds of this size, color saturation, and clarity truly are. This is a treasure of jewel.
The size 5 ring can be resized by your local jeweler. There is a previous sizing strip welded to the interior, which has made the ring about a size smaller than it was originally, as well as hiding from the eye any maker's mark that may exist. So because of this, we cannot say who created this masterpiece. But it is almost certainly American in origin. Ships with a GIA certificate attesting to the origin, visual clarity of the stone, and minimal oil treatment.
