This beautiful ring features a large, oval cut blue Sapphire that weighs over 16 carats (16.36ct) surrounded with orange Sapphires. It is a unique piece that is not for a fainthearted!
The Sapphire is strong blue in colour and it has undergone some form of colour treatment thereby enhancing its very deep blue colour. Treatments like this are fairly common in Sapphire and Ruby and the process is permanent and will not deteriorate over time. Treatments like this does reduce the price making a huge Sapphire like this affordable. You will actually find the colour of this gem quite mesmerizing.
