A fine and impressive vintage 0.49 carat diamond and 18 karat white gold cocktail ring; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive cocktail ring has been crafted in 18k white gold. The substantial, pierced decorated lattice design setting is ornamented with a feature 0.25Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, six claw/prong set in subtle relief to the center of the arrangement. The feature diamond is flanked on either side with a pierced decorated lobed design, accented with an individually four claw/prong set eight-cut diamond. The upper and lower borders of the ring have a scalloped edged design embellished with a further ten pavé set eight-cut diamonds. The multi-stranded, elevated ring shoulders are accented with a ball decoration and amalgamate to join the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18k gold fineness mark (0750) and a 'flower' hallmark. This vintage 1940s 18k white gold cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Condition This impressive vintage cocktail ring is fine quality set with very high color graded diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank.
