13.84 Carat GIA Rubellite and Deco Diamond Ring

About the Item

This Rubellite & Deco Diamond Ring features a central Brilliant Oval cut 13.84 carat GIA Certified Rubellite, a.k.a. Red Tourmaline, securely set in a 4-prong setting. Each prong accented with a Hand Engraved detailing as well. A vivid Red with deep Violet hues comparable to a Ruby belonging to the Crown Jewels .. [A very affordable alternative to owning a Ruby this size] .. With every characteristic of Brazilian Rubellites, and no color enhancements or heat treatments of any kind. This natural color is nearly extinct today in the Brazilian mines. The first known discoveries of Tourmalines were by traders off the West Coast of Italy in the 15th-16th Century. During the 1800s, there rose confusion, reflected in the name Tourmaline, coming from a Sinhalese (of Sri Lanka) word meaning 'mixed gems'. With 12 Round Brilliant cuts & 16 Round Single cuts ranking an E Color (Colorless) - VVS1-VVS2 Clarity (Nearly Flawless) set in Art Deco inspired White Gold designs on each side. This particular style of ring is versatile, suitable for either a statement OR engagement ring and a perfect complement to either White Gold, Yellow Gold, or Platinum jewelry! In a Finger Size 7.5, to be sized upon request. We welcome your inquiries. Video of ring available at request as well.
